Opened in 1889, Amsterdam Centraal Station is a Historic Building with Red Brick Facade, and a fusion of neo-gothic and renaissance styles, with beautifully carved facades. The station’s two tall towers appear to be fronted by two clocks, but the one on the left-hand side is actually a weather vane.
Amsterdam Centraal Station has more than a dozen tracks and more than 1,500 trains travel through the station every day. In order to improve the lighting efficiency on the platforms, Four Semi-circular Transparent Canopies were installed. Amsterdam Centraal Station is also the starting point or way station for local transport, where passengers can Transfer to Metro, Tram or Cruise Ship to travel around the city.
