Foshan is located southwest of Guangzhou, only 10 kilometers away. Foshan is famous for its martial arts, with styles such as Cai Li Fo Quan and Wing Chun.
Zumiao, the Ancestral Temple of Foshan, is dedicated to the god Zhenwu Xuantian and a model of Lingnan architectural art, with most of its buildings dating from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Ancestral Temple of Foshan is a museum of architecture, Taoist culture, Confucianism, traditional Foshan folk culture and martial arts culture.

The Ancestral Temple (Zumiao) is located in the center of Foshan City, and is a museum of ancient Lingnan architecture, Taoist culture, traditional Foshan folk culture and martial arts culture. The carvings and sculptures in the Ancestral Temple are the finest examples of Lingnan architectural art.
Foshan is the hometown of martial arts, with Wong Fei Hung and Ip Man being from Foshan, as well as the martial arts master Bruce Lee. These martial arts elites have made Chinese Kung Fu famous around the world by promoting styles such as Cai Li Fo Quan, Wing Chun and Hung Quan. Foshan’s lion dance is a fusion of the essence of martial arts, representing China’s Southern Lion (a school of lion dance). The fight scenes of lion dance were featured in the hit movie “Wong Fei Hung”.
There are many Lingnan gardens and green parks in Foshan City, including Liang’s Garden, Qiandeng Lake Park and Leigang Park. From the top of the Kuixing Pavilion in Leigang Park, you can have a panoramic view of the city of Foshan and even the Canton Tower. The Lingnan Tiandi commercial district is built on the site of the Dong Hua Li historic building complex, which integrates the leisure and culture of dining and entertainment with historical sites.
