Located on the east bank of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl Tower is made up of 11 spheres of different sizes, and has become a symbolic city icon in Shanghai due to its unique appearance and location. The Oriental Pearl Tower is equipped with a high observation deck that provides a panoramic view of the Bund.

Business Districts where Fashion and History Merge

Shikumen is the most distinctive form of residential houses in Shanghai, based on traditional Chinese architecture and the fusion of Western architectural art. In recent years, Shikumen has been given a more fashionable twist, with Shanghai Xintiandi representing a modern commercial center that perfectly combines fashion, shopping, entertainment and history. There are many other commercial districts of this kind in Shanghai, including Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway.

There are also special landscapes inside and outside the garden, such as Exquisite Jade Rock, Dragon Walls, Mid-Lake Pavilion and the Zigzag Bridge.

The 2010 Shanghai World Expo was China’s first comprehensive world expo, and the quality, quantity and number of pavilions were among the best in the world. It’s been a few years since the Expo ended, but for those who didn’t get to see it, it’s not too late to check it out.
