At the end of the Shang dynasty, Tai Bo and Zhongyong gave up their throne and went south to the barbarian land to establish Meili, which was the origin of Wuxi. Wuxi is located on the shore of Taihu Lake with exquisite scenery, and has popular scenic spots such as Yuantouzhu Park, Lingshan Buddhist scenic spot, and Wuxi-Huishan scenic area.

Wuxi is located on the north side of Lake Ti (Taihu lake), only ten kilometers away. With the unique natural scenery of Taihu Lake, Wuxi has established Yuantouzhu Park, Lingshan Buddhist scenic spot, Three Kingdoms City, Water Margin City, and other scenic areas.

Gorgeous Buddha Land

Located on the shore of Taihu Lake in the southwest of Wuxi City, the Ling Mountain Resort is based on the Xiangfu Zen Temple built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, and has built the Lingshan Grand Buddha, the Brahma Palace and the Five Mudra Mandala. The Grand Buddha, built in 1997, is the largest open-air bronze standing statue of Shakyamuni in China.

Wuxi-Huishan Scenic Area

Huishan is known as “the first mountain in Southeastern China”, and the Wuxi-Huishan Scenic Area is located at the foot of Huishan. This area consists of both natural and cultural landscapes, including the famous Jichang Garden, the thousand-year-old Huishan Temple and The Second Spring under Heaven. Feel free to stroll around the ancient town of Huishan and visit the China Clay Figurine Museum, you may encounter some unexpected discoveries.

Heart of Hills and Waters

The Jichang Garden was established during the Ming Dynasty and is loved by Emperor Qianlong. The garden is situated at the eastern foot of Huishan Mountain in Wuxi, and can be roughly divided into two parts, with the mountain view on the west side and the lake view on the east side forming a delightful contrast.
