A boat ride to see the cherry blossoms up close is their first choice. The petals overhead gently fall on the water in a warm breeze, creating a sea of flowers.

Manywhere Trivia:
Japan is usually called the land of cherry blossoms, but in fact, the national flower of Japan is the chrysanthemum, as well as the Imperial Seal of Japan.

Boating on a Sea of Flowers

However, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it’s not easy to rent a boat and you may have to wait for hours, so the Chidorigafuchi Promenade 千鳥ヶ淵緑道 on the bank is also a good choice.
