Many well-known landmarks have been built along the Danube in Vienna, such as the Vienna International Centre (United Nations Office at Vienna) on the north bank and the 252-meter-tall Danube Tower (Donauturm) standing in Donaupark, which is an important part of the city’s skyline near the Danube.
