Hong Kong Disneyland

Paradise of Dreams

Hong Kong Disneyland is the fifth Disneyland in the world. The whole park is centered on Sleeping Beauty Castle and surrounded by themed attractions such as Main Street U.S.A., Tomorrowland, and Adventureland. Every day the park hosts a Flights of Fantasy Parade and an evening fireworks show.

Hong Kong Disneyland is the fifth Disneyland opened by Walt Disney in the world, following California, Orlando, Tokyo, and Paris. The whole park still maintains the Disney fairy tale style, with Sleeping Beauty Castle as the center, surrounded by a number of different themed play areas: Main Street, U.S.A., the technology and the future themed Tomorrowland, a Fantasyland full of imagination and magic, the Mystic Point, the Toy Story Land, and the wild west style Grizzly Gulch…

Manywhere Trivia:
Hong Kong Disneyland is the world’s smallest Disneyland, covering one percent of the footprint of Orlando Disneyland. However, with the reclamation work continuing to progress, it is expected to exceed, uh, two percent.

Whether you are an adult or a child, here you can get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a while to experience the charm of the fairy tale kingdom. Each themed area features its unique style rides, as well as restaurants and shopping venues, such as the Comet Restaurant in the shape of a space ship in Tomorrowland, the Merlin’s Magic Shop in Fantasyland, the Tarzan's Treehouse, and the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars in Grizzly Gulch. At the end of the day, you can also spend an amazing night in the Disney Hotels.

If you are familiar with the history, animated films and those classic characters of Disney, then this park of dreams is specially made for you. When the melody from the movie plays in your ears, when a Flights of Fantasy Parade passes by, when Simba, Timon and Pumbaa appear on the stage, you do not need to suppress your inner impulse, let go of all worries, just wholeheartedly devote yourself to the dreams.

Manywhere Trivia:
Hong Kong Disneyland is actually owned by a joint venture between the Hong Kong government and the Walt Disney Company, with the Hong Kong government owning a majority of the equity. So technically HKDL is a publicly owned park.

There are always surprises in the park. Walking down the street, you will meet Mickey and Minnie, the cleaning lady with a broom that turns into an enchanted street performer, and the staff handing out gifts and stickers everywhere. Perhaps these unexpected street encounters are what Disneyland really wants to bring people, the happy surprises.
