Becoming Silverhand

Born in 1988, Johnny lost his arm in the early 20th-century war. The replacement metal prosthetic became his signature and gave him The Nickname Silverhand.

Soon after, Johnny Silverhand and a few friends formed a Band Named Samurai, which soon set off a “Samurai” craze around the world.

A Sudden Event in 2013 completely changed the fate of Johnny Silverhand. He watched as his girlfriend, Alt Cunningham, was kidnapped by the Arasaka Corporation, and was seriously injured in the incident.
