The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas was constructed in 1974 and is said to have been built at the will of the Chinese deity Baosheng Emperor.
The Dragon and Tiger Pagoda consists of the Dragon Zen Pagoda and Tiger Zen Pagoda, which are designed in traditional Chinese seven-story pagoda style. Two fierce beasts are lying underneath the pagoda, forming the most unique scenery here. What is more amazing is that the entrance to the pagodas is located in the Dragon's Mouth. According to local custom, one should enter the Dragon Zen Pagoda through the dragon’s throat, follow the passage to the Tiger Zen Pagoda, and finally leave the pagodas through the tiger’s mouth. Such a design is unique and carries the meaning of turning bad fortune into good fortune.
