Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot

Gorgeous Buddha Land

Located on the shore of Taihu Lake in the southwest of Wuxi City, the Ling Mountain Resort is based on the Xiangfu Zen Temple built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, and has built the Lingshan Grand Buddha, the Brahma Palace and the Five Mudra Mandala. The Grand Buddha, built in 1997, is the largest open-air bronze standing statue of Shakyamuni in China.

Located on the shores of Taihu Lake in the southwest of Wuxi City, Lingshan Buddhist Scenic Spot is a Buddhist tourist area that is renowned in China, based on the Xiangfu Zen Temple that was built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, and has built the Lingshan Grand Buddha, Brahma Palace 梵宫, Nine Dragons Bathing Shakyamuni 九龙灌浴 and the Five Mudra Mandala 五印坛城, among other major attractions.

The Lingshan Grand Buddha, built in 1997, is the largest open-air bronze standing statue of Shakyamuni in China. The Buddha is 88 meters high, made of 2000 welded bronze wall plates, weighing more than 700 tons, and is a landmark in Wuxi.

Lingshan Brahma Palace, Five Mudra Mandala and Flying Dragon Pagoda are three architectures in very different styles, representing the three major branches of Chinese Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism and Southern Buddhism. The Lingshan Brahma Palace is one of the largest, with Glorious and Splendid Decoration from the ground to the ceiling of all the majestic and luxurious. The huge carved wood carvings, magnificent glazed wall decorations, and exquisite flying fairy coffered ceiling make you feel like you have stepped into a misty and gorgeous paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the Shobha world. In addition, the Lingshan Brahma Palace is also equipped with modern facilities such as theaters, banquet halls, and conference rooms.
