Meguro River is an urban waterway in Meguro, Tokyo, with about 800 cherry trees planted on both sides of the 4-kilometer waterway. The Meguro River is famous for its night cherry blossoms and is visited by many visitors from March to April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Compared with other major rivers in Tokyo, Meguro River is not as famous as Sumida River, and it is not as wide as Arakawa River. But on its 4 km long embankment, about 800 Cherry Trees are planted, which makes Meguro River a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, especially for night cherry blossoms.

The cherry blossom trees in Meguro River do not have a large open space, so it is not suitable for the Japanese tradition of sitting on the ground to enjoy the cherry blossoms around. Even so, there is still a steady stream of Visitors during Cherry Blossom Season here, so they have developed another unique habit of walking and drinking.
