Venue of the 20th Summer Olympics

The Olympic Park in Munich was the site of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, with the main Olympic Stadium and other venues, especially the nearly 300-meter-high Olympic Tower located in the park. After the 1972 Olympic Games, Munich Olympic Park has also hosted many events and important activities.

After the Munich Olympics, the main Olympic stadium became the home of Germany’s FC Bayern Munich and has hosted major international events such as the World Cup, European Championships, and UEFA Champions League, as well as major events such as concerts, fairs, and festivals, with musicians such as The Rolling Stones being regular guests. On the Olympic Walk of Stars by the lake, the palm prints and signatures of personalities from culture and sport are preserved.
