The Otorii (Grand Torii) is one of the shrine buildings in Japan and is said to be a gateway between the sacred realms where gods live and the earthly world where humans live. Most of them are made up of two pillars and one or two beams, and this is a selection of some of the largest or most iconic shrine toriis.
