Being the root of cultural Fuzhou, Three Lanes and Seven Alleys (Sanfangqixiang) is one of the few large remaining historic and blocks in China under complete protection, and is known as "the living fossil of Chinese city Lifang system" and "the museum of Ming and Qing dynasty architecture".
